The Spirit of God Ministries, Inc. invites you to attend special services honoring Pastor Larry Allen. The first appreciation service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 4:00PM with special guest speaker, Dr. Curly Scott, Sr., pastor of Truth Church International of Plano. The second appreciation service will be on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 4:00PM with special guest speakers, Minister Michael Allen and Pastor Flora Cobb of the Christian Teaching Center of Tyler. Both services will be held at The Spoken Word of Life on Hwy 79 in Oakwood. Recording artist Eric Bell will be performing.

Explosive Labor Day Revival! Monday, September 7, 2009 at 7:30PM guest speaker, Evangelist Nancy Davis from Elkhart, will be at the Miracle Church at 1544 W. Broad St. (Hwy 79) in Oakwood. On Tuesday, September 8 and Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 7:30PM guest Evangelist, Rev. Ira Bostic, pastor of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Houston will also be coming to the Miracle Church to preach revival. Everyone is invited!

The Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America (AVVA) Palestine Chapter 991 will hold their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, September 8th 2009, at 7:00 pm in the Disabled American Veterans Hall, located at 927 Gardner Drive, Palestine, Texas.

North Creek Baptist Church will enroll Awana Clubbers Sept. 9, 2009, in the church’s family life center. Enrollment will be from 6:15 to 7:30 pm. Awana is a Bible based program for children 3 years old through high school. Parents, please bring your child to the church on FM 3178 to enroll. PTO Co-ed Softball Tournament - Come join us for our first annual co-ed softball tournament to be held on September 19th, 2009 at the baseball fields behind Centerville Elementary! Rosters and rules will be available at Davis Feed & Fertilizer in Centerville & Buffalo, Citizens State Bank in Centerville & Buffalo, Wells Fargo Bank in Centerville, Home Town Pizza in Jewett and Holmes Pharmacy in Jewett. The cost will be $125.00 per team, with a maximum of 15 players and minimum of 8. The deadline for team money and rosters will be September 1st! You can turn them into Angie Roberts at Wells Fargo Bank in Centerville. This is one of our many fundraisers of the year - so come out and enjoy a family event!!
