Ladies results for August 6

August 6, 2009 - Even holes on front 9 + 1/2 handicap was the ‘Game of the Day’ for the nine-hole ladies. First place honors went to Marcia Waller with 17. Second place went to Betty Von Bierberstein with 17.5 and Garlyn Person took third place with 19.5. Betty Von Bierberstein had low putts and Marcia Waller had a par on #7. Next week's ‘Game of the Day’ for the nine-hole gals will be Odd Holes + 1/2 Handicap.

The 18-hole ladies had 11 players and ‘Game of the Day’ was Par 4's (1/2 Handicap). First place winner was Shirley Schiamara (39), second place went to Joyce Perkins. Third place went to Helen Prejean, 4th place went to Lorraine Guilford and 5th place went to Linda Hambrick. Low Putts was won by Faye Weller with only 29 putts. Shirley Schiamara had the only chip-in and it was on #14. Closest to the pin winners: Debbie Miller got it on #3 and on #10. Helen Prejean got it on #15. The game next week will be ‘Toss Out The Worst Hole Score’.

Second (score of 123) - Don Weldon, Jim Miller, Byron Hudgens, Vic Schwartz. Third (score of 126) - Doug Sassman, Dale Recknor, Wallace Holland, Hernando Porto. Fourth (score of 126) - Dennis Pruitt, Vernon Von Bieberstein, Les Whitworth, Leroy Carey. Closest to Pin on Par Threes: #3 - Doug Sassman, #7 - Morris Pegues, #10 - Joe Cheek, and #15 - Bob Beevers.
