Calling all Cooks to share their summer secrets

Summer is here and we are in the middle of vegetable production season. For variety in our Leon County Cooks column we would like to invite you to send your favorite method of cooking a particular vegetable each week. For instance, one week we may focus on okra, another on peas and another on corn.

For next week I would like to ask you to send in your squash recipes. This can be ways to can or freeze the vegetable or a favorite way to cook them as in this week’s column.
