     The American Legion Post #335 of Leon County will hold our monthly meeting on Saturday August 1st at 6pm. The meeting is held at the Centerville municipal building located across from the Post Office. We would like to invite our members and their wives to attend.

Prewitt-Hickman engagement announced
      Frank & Karen Prewitt of Jewett Texas are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Carly Amanda, to Mr. Allen Hickman. Carly is the granddaughter of Bob and Sandy Thompson of West Virginia and Martha Prewitt of New York. She is currently enrolled at The University of Texas at Tyler and will graduate in December 2009 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
