NORTH CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH

There is a strange thing going on At North Creek Baptist Church and that is the bible is being heard at home and at church from cd’s . The new testament is on a CD and we each were given assignments to listen and report back when we finish each book. This is Just another way to interest folks in studying the word of God. It is easier this way if you don’t go to sleep. Once you get past the begats it is not so boring. Renovation on the double wide next door is about finished and the pastor is moved in and living there. The old parsonage is in escrow and should close soon. North Creek is going to present the Evans/Ferguson children with their school supplies as their old ones were burned up in the trailer fire. That is just a small effort but it will get them back to school. Many of the older members of North Creek are having surgeries and being patched up in their old age. It is a shame that when you are old enough to know what you need to know your body begins to fall apart. Oh well. Soon The Lord will come and take us to where we’ll never have pain and we will not ever suffer or have surgery. Next week Brother Jim will be on vacation and the services will be brought by His Father-in-law Brother Burrell Humphrey. If you are a Christian and not currently attending a church regularly, consider coming to North Creek. You’ll like it. If you are not a Christian the time is getting shorter and the time will soon be that every knee ahall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
