Two arrested in Freestone drug bust
Weapons seized
Sheriff’s Deputies executed a Search Warrant at a rural residence on FM-489 during the afternoon hours of July 10th. Two people were arrested as a result of the mentioned Search Warrant. Several weapons were seized, as well as electronic scales, small baggies for packaging and a container with a liquid weighing approximately 50 grams, which field tested positive as belonging to the Methamphetamine group. Those arrested were Tony J. Scott and Kimberly D. Keel. Both were charged with the offense of Manufacture/Deliver a Controlled Substance, Less than 200 Grams. Both suspects were transported to and placed in the Freestone County Jail. Officers involved were DPS Curtis Putz, TPD Shawn Solly, Deputies Robert Willis, Thomas Hendrix, Diana Willis, Clayton Aldrich, Robert Elom and Sheriff Ralph Billings. Officers were involved in this approximately seven hours. Both Scott and Keel remain incarcerated under a $150,000.00 per person bail amount. |
