Making art opens a space inside us that speaks a personal language, that allows us to see and listen more clearly. It can be many things, writing a story, drawing or knitting, dancing or even building a barn or tying a fence. Art's creative inner territory is prayerful. It is life and is always inspired. This inspiration comes to us in whispers and 2X4s. Last Sunday Carol came to teach my second pottery lesson. She is an amazing creative who wears many hats. Good friend Fred Albers tells that he got an inch of rain at his house…..then he noticed that he hadn’t pushed the gauge all the way down to the bottom of the holder.
