     THE HERZOG FAMILY from Bremond and A TOUCH OF GRASS featuring DUSTY AND TRISH BREWER from Fairfield will entertain at the SHILOH COMMUNITY CENTER on Saturday, July 18 beginning at 6 p.m. Assorted salads, dessert and tea will be served at 7 p.m. Cost of the supper is $5.00 per person. At this time we will also have a cake auction and DOOR PRIZES. Proceeds from the evening will go toward upkeep and renovations to the building.

Tadlock-Gaskin Wed
      Jamie Jeanice Tadlock and Kevin Lee Gaskin were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 7:00 PM in the 7F Chapel. Brother Ray Grissett of Buffalo performed the double ring ceremony. The chapel was lit by candlelight and adorned with a swag of red roses, silver branches, white tulle and black accents. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, James and Kim Tadlock of Marquez and her other fathers, Leondale and George Grayson of Marquez and Tommy Ainsworth of Buffalo. The bride and groom lit the unity candle to the song “In Color”.

      As the years passed by, Lucielle would move into an assisted living facility. The Holland House was great. It was right on the beach and the buses ran right out front to take you anywhere you wanted. She shopped, visited friends and went to church. She was a strong, independent senior.

Fourth of July contest winners
      Centerville’s annual Funtier Days Fourth of July celebration was well attended, and the various events also drew good participation this year. Winners in the various events are listed below. The top entries in the Antique Car Show were: 1st - Gary Nunley; 2nd - Bill Earnest; 3rd - Colby Gradner. There was a tie in the Antique Tractor Show between Blain Council and Gary Bob Wood.
