School Board approves personnel changes

A quorum of members of the BISD School Board met in special session on June 30, 2009 to deal with a brief agenda of personnel-related items.

The Board discussed and approved Local DEC which dealt with the district's policy on compensation and benefits of leaves and absences.

Following that, the Board was advised of the resignation of Tracy Harrison, who is leaving her teaching and coaching position at BHS to accept a position with the Leon County Special Education Cooperative.

The Board then approved the employment of special education teacher Sheryl Jean Wright.
