NORTH CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH

by Tom Nolen

The National birthday has come and gone and no one could be more satisfied than when he or she is filled with corn on the cob and watermelon right from the field. The truth is that more is celebrated than good cooking and gardening. The time of the writing of the declaration of independence is celebrated and folks remember the turmoil that the nation was in at that time. Most will agree that the decisions that were made were the right ones and the nation was born. Better yet, it survived and each generation has seen hard times and wondered if better arrangements could have been foreseen at the time. North Creek Baptist Church has always been as close to the Lord as the bible teaches and wondered if that too was not enough. The leaders of the church have done their best and have led in the way of the Lord. Satan has tried many times to detour it from doing the best way which is God’s way. As usual God comes to the rescue and straightens out the way for us to go. If you have never accepted the Jesus Christ for your Savior then you have a limited time to do so before Armageddon takes all of the mystery out of it and those who have never accepted Him will spend forever in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone. If you have become a Christian but are not now regularly attending a church, then We ask that you come to North Creek and meet the people and feel the love that exists for everyone there. “See ya there.”
