Ladies golf news

June 25, 2009 - The 9-Hole players had 8 players. They played "Low Gross". First Place was won by Becca Neukom with 52. Betty Von Bieberstein took 2nd Place with 57, and Marcia Waller took 3rd place. Low putts for the day went to Pat Mossman. Next week will be "Field Shots". LADIES 9-HOLE STARTS AT 8:00 AM

The 18-hole gals also had 8 players and they played "Low Gross". In the First flight, Shirley Schiamara won first place shooting 92. In the Second flight, Nancy Keown won first place with 104. In the Third flight, Ginger O'Brien won first place with 111. Low putts honor went to Ruth Wallace with 29 putts. Helen Prejean had a Chip-in on #2, and Faye Weller had one on #5. Closest to the pin winners were: Joyce Perkins on #3 AND #10; and Nancy Keown on #15. Congratulations to all winners. Next week will be "3 Clubs and a Putter". Hope you can join in the fun! SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - Hilltop Lakes Women's and Men's Golf Associations are hosting a combined tournament for their members on July 9, 2009. Format will be a 4 person scramble. Each team will be composed of women and men. You must be a member of either the HTL Men's or Women's Golf Associations. Start time will be 8:30 AM. Entry fee is $3.00 per person. Sign-up in the pro shop. BBQ and all the trimmings will be served after the tournament.
