Lady Bison nab big share of All-District honors
      The All-District softball team selections have been announced and BHS’ young Lady Bison team grabbed a huge share of the honors in District 21AA, including one of the district superlatives. Sophomore shortstop Jordyn Briscoe, who tormented opponents all year by snagging would-be hits out of mid-air, earned the title of Defensive Player of the Year. Four Lady Bison were selected to the First Team All District: Seniors Kayla Morris (first base) and Jami Davis (centerfield), and sophomore pitcher Rachel Morris and catcher Jennifer Pate.

Nelson wins age group title at Kosse 5K
      Buffalo distance runner Chad Nelson competed in the Kosse 5K Fun Run last Saturday, where he finished second overall and took first place in his age group. His time of 18:31 approximated his personal best at that distance.
