Bison ballplayers earned All-District honors
First Team All-District Short Stop Aaron Bell, (#1) in action. Van'Go'photo Announcements have been made for the 2009 All-District baseball selections, and several of the Bison ball players earned spots on the team.
Junior Aaron Bell was named to the 1st Team All District squad at the short stop position. Bell had .452 batting average and .957 fielding percentage.
Two BHS sophomores earned spots on the Second Team All District. travis King was picked 2nd Team All District 2nd Baseman, boasting a .960 fielding percentage and .375 batting average. Ryan Read got the nod as 2nd Team All District Pitcher. Read threw 42 strikeouts to twenty walks in 33 innings, had a 2.97 ERA and .600 win percentage.
Finally, senior Jesus Davis was picked Honorable Mention Middle Infielder, posting .915 fielding percentage.
