Van'Go'photo The BHS theatre troupe saved their best for last, delivering a great performance of their One Act Play, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" at the State Meet in Austin. The packed house at the Hogg Memorial Auditorium really appeared to enjoy the comedy, erupting into laughter in all the right places, and the players knew they had left nothing on the table when the final curtain fell.

Critic Judge Terry Lewis described the BHS thespians as "brilliant", but Buffalo did not medal in the competition, nor garner any individual awards. Rogers High School won the competition with a drama "Ghetto".
