Dallasite calls, wants to know if their loved one is incarcerated in Freestone County Jail…..Nope, don't have him, suggest you call the other Jails between Houston and Dallas and Good Luck on your quest.

In Austin all week attending Jail Training. Congratulations to Jail Lt. Charlie Mathis, received award for Driving Skills, won Top Award out of 50 Statewide competitors.

Man on Main in Teague receiving threatening calls. FEMS to Anderson Lane, Lady passed out.

Ran into Sheriff Terry Box of Collin County (McKinney,Tx.) in Austin….. Says he is a regular reader. Very flattering to hear, but hope for his sake the folks in Collin County don't find out…..They may question his choice of reading material, due to the quality, or rather lack thereof! Anyway, Welcome Aboard, Terry… ..I might add that I refer to Terry as my Second-Hand Kinfolks…..He is my Sister- In-Law's first Cousin. All you local readers will understand that second hand kinfolks reference, doubtful folks in Plano or McKinney will.

Lady on Cedar calls, wants extra close patrol by Teague Officers, someone has been coming on her porch and stealing her cigarettes….. Duly noted….Suggest instead Ma'am it would be far cheaper on your tax-paying neighbors if you'd just keep them in the house!

Vehicle through fence, FCR-601….A very good fence, I might add….Seems like old stretches of junky fence are immune from ever being struck. It's always the new stretches….

Lady in Wildwood calls, someone has tapped into their septic line. Deputy Shaw to FCR-790, theft in the oilfield. Dep. Aldrich jails Lady on Dallas County Warrants. Dep. Shipley to Big Lake, one female flailed another, sleeping with the wrong person.

FEMS and Kirvin VFD to heart troubles, FM-27. Southern Oaks VFD to dryer smoking, FCR-190, vent clogged, cord frayed. Deputy Howerton jails one from County Court, Hot Checkin'. Well, there is one bright point….. We don't take checks at the Jail!

Local Lady "meets" a feller on InterNet….. Now, he's showed up at her house…..But she wants nothing further to do with him.

Lady has trailer for sale, man interested in buying, but persistent that she accept his check….But he wants to write the check for more than the purchase price, for her to cash the check, then let him drive off with the trailer and the extra dough. No way, Jose!

Deputy Robert Elom to theft of trailer and 4-Wheelers, FCR-991. Deputies Barrentine and Howerton arrest man at Teague residence, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm By A Felon.

DPS Thornton and Zotz, Fairfield VFD to accident, Mile 203, car on fire. FEMS to FM-3285, man in Oil Patch in trouble, doing CPR on him, hurry. More of same on FCR- 946, FEMS rolls to that one, too. 911 Bounce says man in Woman's Rest Room, IH-45 Rest Area, Navarro County. DPS Thornton always makes himself handy….to Mile 209, windshield broken by gravel truck. Teague Animal Control to Heights in Teague, Pit Bull puppy eating Lady's eggs.

FEMS to Faircrest, another with breathing problems. Deputies execute Search Warrant on East Commerce in Fairfield, 6.5 grams of Controlled Substance, Marijuana and Xanex all seized. Car reported stolen on J.A. Brooks…..Nope, nope, never mind…..Just Repo Joe out plying his craft. Vehicle hits gas meter on N. Mount, Fairfield VFD to same, natural gas spewing. Deputies Elom and Barrentine to Husband/ Wife Dispute, mediated for now. Unwanted visitors on N. 10th, won't leave, TPD to same.

DPS Thornton and Zotz, FEMS and Dew VFD to accident, Mile 189. Man already in Jail served Warrant for Burglary. TPD Cox to Domestic Troubles on China. Also to disruption at Freestone Apts.

To Relay For Life on Friday. Had the pleasure of assisting in the auction of a very high-quality, handmade quilt, made over the last year for the specific purpose of auctioning during the Fund Raiser. Many names of friends and loved ones previously lost to Cancer, all with a tie to our County, inscribed on the blocks. Who went to all of this trouble, and donated so much of her time?.....Our mean Ol' Driver License Examiner, that's who. Yep, the very same gal who breaks out all of our local High Schoolers in a hot sweat on that first visit to her Office in the Courthouse to take that dreaded two part test determining whether they get a Driver License and that exalted ability to legally drive a car…..Way to go, Becky Stephenson, it was a fantastic effort….and since it sold for $1,400.00, I'd say it was most successful. And we'll hold you to your promise…..Make another for next year.

Deputy Harrison dealing with Family Troubles…. Just a trifling, every-day matter really…something I'm sure every family would deal with at least weekly….Caller says she and brother fighting, she threw a bottle of beer at the brother, more kinsmen in the fray….one has a knife, the other has a pistol, the one with the pistol lets loose with one round from the pistol inside the house….As I said, it's really just a trifling thing, I'm sure that every one of you readers deal with this sort of thing two/three times a week…..Well, you do, don't you?....Surely, this wouldn't be considered abnormal behavior, would it?

4-Wheeler complaints on Stubbs, Wortham. DPS Warren arrests DWI, US-84. FEMS, Fairfield VFD, DPS and Deputies to accident, FM-488 at FM-2570. Child stuck in bathroom at Reunion Grounds….Nope, nope, he's out now. Drunk pedestrians jailed by FPD Kindon, US-84 at Reunion. Also arrests female on Bond, Hot Checkin' Warrants out of Navarro and Limestone Counties.

Driver flees TPD Sykora, upon finally stopping, flees afoot, captured, Controlled Substance and Evading Arrest are now the charges. Pursuit was from Teague to Fairfield where tires spiked by DPS.

DPS and Deputies to 4-Wheeler accident, FCR- 345, assisted by Butler and Dew Firemen plus Doctor Chopper. FPD to Carter Street, woman hit in face by another. WPD Keathley to front door broken in, S. 4th. Congratulations Angelina Howerton! You're the only person I've ever known who graduated from Junior College two weeks before graduating from High School.
