On May 7 HTL hosted their President's Cup Two Day event and the 9-Hole Gals had eight players. Congratulations to the 1st Place winner Peg Parker shooting 68; 2nd place Jo An Henry with a 73; AND there was a 3-way tie for 3rd place between Becca Neukom, Dorothy Green and Billie Tatom. A scorecard playoff resulted in Becca Neukom taking 3rd place with 76. Low Putts competition for the day was a three-way tie between Lorna Webb, Billie Tatom and Betty Barton with 16 putts. Pars - Marcia Waller had a par on #7, Betty Barton had a par on #10, Lorna Webb had TWO pars - #14 and #15, and Becca Neukom had TWO pars - #10 and #16.

The 18-Hole players had thirteen players for the President's Cup Two Day event. Congratulations to Joyce Perkins with 1st place shooting 137 (total for two days). Second place went to Shirley Schiamara shooting 138 and third went to Marcia Rector with 142. There was a tie for fourth with 146, but after scorecard playoff, Lorraine Guilford takes 4th and Helen Prejean takes 5th. Ruth Wallace shot 147 for 6th place; and Leonor Holland took 7th place with 149. Joyce Perkins was on fire; she had 29 putts for Lowest putts, and a Birdie on #15. Carolyn Tibbitts had a Chip-in on #15. Closest-tothe pin winners were Joyce Perkins on #15; Helen Prejean on #3; and Debbie Miller on #10.
