David G. Street

Memorial services for Mr. David George Street, 57, will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Jewett. Bro. James Engle and Bro. Carl Clark will officiate. Mr. Street was born in Marion, Ohio and passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at his residence near Jewett. He worked at Brookshire's in Buffalo and B&B in Jewett for several years in various capacities. He enjoyed wood working and riding motorcycles. At one time, he rode his motorcycle all the way to West Virginia and to Colorado. Mr. Street loved to tell jokes and make people smile.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Roberts; daughter, Christy Street; stepdaughters, Donna Wolford & husband Wade and Vickie Johnson & husband Benton, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mr. Street was preceded in death by his father; Johnny Street.
