Among the features will be a drawing at 4 P.M. for a grand prize of $2500. There will also be prizes awarded every 15 minutes with larger prizes every hour.

There will be thousands of dollars and many products and gift certificates in door prizes including a 6x12 utility trailer awarded during the day. There will be free food and drinks and many events during the day.

Children's events will include a bounce room, face painting, popcorn, balloons and Smokey the Bear.

Entertainment includes The Old Country Band, KBHT, KNES and The Cypress Creek Clydesdale Horses. Educational presentations will include a horse owners' workshop, Texas Forestry Service, U.S. Army and vendor presentations.

There will be free food with pulled pork sandwiches and drinks. Renowned area Bar-B-Que chef Melvin Thomas will be doing the cooking.

"It has been very exciting." Tom Davis said. "Business has been increasing each week and our number of sales doubled or tripled."

"We want to emphasize our Bridal Registry and Baby Shower gift selection." Jeannie Davis said. She also pointed with pride at the jewelry section featuring Mon tana Silver.

In addition to their already complete line of feed, farm and ranch supplies, Davis County Store now offers clothing and retail items previously unavailable in Buffalo.

"We are going to offer friendly, personal service and clean restrooms." Tom Davis said, with an obvious note of pride in his voice.
