Examples are polledness, parasite resistance, heat tolerance and calving ease. Docility is another good example. Think about all the time and money flighty, aggressive animals cost us at gathering, working, sorting, calving, etc.

Paws and Pals; For kids who love dogs
      Paws and Pals, the 4-H group for kids who love dogs, is sponsoring basic obedience classes beginning Tuesday, April 14, 2009 - May 19, 2009. Classes will be held at the Leon County Show Barn starting at 5:30pm. All dogs must be at least 6 months of age, have current vaccinations and a stable temperament for working in a group environment.
