Ag Mechanics Show Results

Ag Mechanics was a new competition added to this year's Leon County Youth Livestock Show. Oakwood High School's ag teacher Wesley Henson and OHS School Board Member Larry Lipsey proudly stand beside one of Oakwood FFA's entries, a Farmall tractor lovingly restored from "an old rust bucket" to a handsome, functional farm machine. Van'Go'photo Ag Mechanics was a new competition added to this year's Leon County Youth Livestock Show. Van'Go'photo Ag Mechanics was a new division of competition introduced this year. Judges Barry Olive and Wayne Chapman had their hands full as they evaluated the entries in several categories.

Oakwood FFA exhibited the Champion Tractor, as well as the Champion Trailer. Buffalo FFA presented the Reserve Champion Trailer. Centerville 4-H had the Champion Plant Stand, exhibited by Cody Oden. Andy and Tobe Johnson of Centerville 4-H presented the Champion Picnic Table. Buffalo FFA exhibited both the Champion and Reserve Champion Barbeque pit.
