      The Bison baseball team hit the road last week, travelling to Anderson-Shiro, New Waverly and Centerville in the second round of District 21-AA action. VS ANDERSON-SHIRO Buffalo and Anderson- Shiro faced off in a make-up game on Monday, after being rained out last week.

Centerville's Lady Tigers continue their winning ways

      The Lady Tigers displayed pitching and timely hitting in a district win over Trinity's Lady Tigers, 10- 0, in Centerville on March 31. The win improved the Lady Tigers' season record to 18- 8, and more importantly boosted their district record to 8- 1.

BHS Softball team drops to 2nd Place
      The Lady Bison softball team had one of their busier weeks with two regularly scheduled games and a make up. Buffalo defeated Groveton 12-2 on Monday to begin the second half of district play. On Wednesday, the Lady Bison worked in a make up game with Anderson-Shiro. Saturday brought the long awaited rematch between Centerville and Buffalo.

Teague track meet results
Lady Bison take second to Centerville
      The Lady Bison varsity track team came in second in a field of eleven in Teague last Thursday, April 2. The Lady Bison scored 97 points throughout the meet to place second behind Centerville's 112. Buffalo will compete in Franklin on Wednesday to wrap up their pre-district meets. District will be held in Groveton on April 13 and 16.
