"Family and a few friends" is what Ira Dell Bell said would be okay for her 90th birthday party. There is no doubt the Bell's are a large Leon County family, but the Lone Star Community Center at Flo was "bulging at the seams" at Sunday's occasion so there must have been more than a "few friends". More ... This week's cook wears many hats. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, works at Economy Inn, is a Pampered Chef consultant, and a Scentsy wickless candle consultant. Whew!! In a sanctuary colored by sunlight and stained glass, the choir of First Baptist Church presented an Easter Musical at 4:00 p.m. on Palm Sunday, April 5. The musical, arranged by Tom Fettke, depicts the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. More ...
