Last week you read about six puppies which were dumped on the county road that runs by my house. And this week I can report that all the puppies now have homes, and I trust, good ones. I received several calls from interested parties, not all wanting to adopt a puppy. One called to say that the Palestine Animal Shelter will take the dogs for a small fee. More...
Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Hutto Barnett, 69, were held on Friday, April 3, 2009, at 1:00p.m. at Marquez Cemetery. Bro. Billy Bob Evans officiated. Mrs. Barnett was born in Marquez and passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Trinity Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler.
