50th Leon County Youth Livestock Show off to good start

Sherry's Shots This year's Leon County Youth Livestock Show kicked off on Monday, March 30 with a Halter Heifer Show and a Meet and Greet Event. According to Russell Jonas, this is the first year to have such an event and the purpose is to get the owners and the buyers acquainted.

The schedule for the week: Monday, halter heifers, meet and greet; Tuesday, market lambs, market goats, broilers; Wednesday, breeding swine, market swine, market rabbits, breeding rabbits; Thursday, commercial heifers, market hogs, market steer; Friday, Ag Mechanic Judging, Buyer's Dinner, premium sale.
