Leon County Health Fair slated for April 22nd

Join us to discover the treasure of life: Good Health! Wednesday, April 22, 2009, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., will bring to Leon County the 2nd Annual Health Fair. The Health Fair will be held in the Leon High School Gym, in Jewett, Texas. The Health Fair is brought to Leon County by the efforts of the Leon County Health Resource Center.

Health Fair participants will be able to visit various vendors in the health and fitness field from the Brazos Valley area. There will be free health screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol. Another interesting twist to the Health Fair will be a series of exercise demonstrations throughout the day, booths displaying healthy eating habits, and even a fitness challenge.
