      Funeral services for Mr. Ernest Byfield Taylor, 82, will be held at First United Methodist Church in Jewett at 11:00a.m. Thursday April 2, 2009. Visitation will be held on Wednesday with the family present from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m.at the funeral home. Rev. John Warren and Rev. Mary Magnussen will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Sardis Cemetery.

      Funeral services for Cheryl Marlene Moore, age 60, of Mexia, Texas were held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Rev. Dean Easterling, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church in Centerville, Texas officiated and interment followed in the North Creek Cemetery in rural Leon County.
