Cleo Hill Simpson White

Cleo Hill Simpson White, 86, of Buffalo, Texas and formerly of El Dorado, Arkansas died Friday, March 13, 2009 at Copper Creek Plaza in Buffalo, Texas following a long illness.

Born on September 10, 1922 in El Dorado, AR, Cleo was the daughter of Tom M. and Vida Belle Carelock Hill. She worked several years as an accountant with Sterling Varity Store. She was a member of Westside Assembly of God Church before moving to the Conroe, Texas area in 2002.

Cleo was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Vera Hill Murphy, Alverta Hill Hubbard, Hila Delonia Hill, and by husbands Charles Simpson and Terrell White.

Survivors are a brother, Thomas Hill of Conroe, Tex five sisters, Dollie Hill Tittle of Houston, Texas, Florice Hill White of Conroe, Texas, Lorice Hill of Buffalo, Texas, Cleta Faye Hill Perdue of El Dorado, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Funeral services were held 10 AM Monday, March 16, 2009 in the chapel of Bailey Funeral Home with Rev. Charles M. Hill and Rev. Stephen Moss officiating. Interment followed at Arlington Memorial Park.

The family received friends at the Bailey Funeral Home Sunday evening from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Local arrangements were with Walters Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
