BHS cheer squads selected for 2009-10

Middle row: Kara Sadler, Taylor Ayers, Laken McCabe Varsity Bucky: Raul Carrillo Contributed photos Buffalo High School held cheerleader tryouts last week and selected their 2009-10 varsity and junior varsity squads. Keri Hawthorne and Tristan Brewer will lead the varsity team as captain and co-captain. Rounding out the squad will be Perla Holguin, Kayla Scott, Kara Sadler, Taylor Ayers, and Laken McCabe. Raul Carillo will serve as the Bison mascot, Bucky.

The JV cheerleaders will be TiOnna Adams, Erin Trahan, Chelsea Varner, Kimberly Rendon and Hannah Wilson, and LaVonia Chisolm will don the Bucky costume for the JV squad.

Kindergarten teacher Jennifer Womack will once again serve as high school cheerleader sponsor.
