      Sheriff's Report Number 428- Dep. Aultman arrests man on Probation Warrant. TPD Reed to MLK on reports of screaming. WPD to loud 4-Wheeler on Avenue D. Kids reported throwing rocks at houses and dogs on 8th, Teague. Wortham VFD and Mexia EMS to man with injured ankle, Ave. D and San Saba. Deputy Aldrich to report of people shooting across another's property, FCR-1151.

Step Outside

      This past week brought Leon County some much needed rain. The precipitation should help the spring green-up a great deal. Ponds and creeks should be in better shape for spawning fish after two to three inches of wet stuff. Deer may leave food plots alone this month as there will be plenty of fresh, green vegetation for them to make use of.

Straight from The Horse's Mouth
      Spring time is a frustrating and confusing time for closets in Central/Near East Texas. We like to wear our comfy winter clothes, but those sweaters and jackets take up a lot of space. Buffalo just doesn't get that much cold weather. One week our teeth are chattering and the next we're sweating.
