Bedias Creek SWCD Soil Test Incentive Program
Assistance with cost offer
The Bedias Creek SWCD will assist producers, within the District area, with the costs of soil and biosolid testing. Bedias Creek SWCD includes Leon County, Madison County, and the Northern quarter of Grimes County. Testing can be completed through Texas A&M Soil, Water and Forage Testing Lab. Two submittal forms must be completed. One submittal form to bill Bedias Creek SWCD, information will be provided upon receipt of samples. The other submittal form must be completed and paid at the time of receipt of samples from the operation. Sample forms and bags are available at the Bedias Creek SWCD office, and the Agri-life Extension office. Soil testing must be completed in accordance with NRCS, and TSSWCB standards where applicable. The $10 'Routine Analysis' will be accepted for cost assistance. Biosolid samples must be collected in accordance with NRCS and TSSWCB standards. The $15 'Nitrogen + Minerals + % Moisture' analysis group will be accepted for cost assistance. The first three samples of soil and biosolids will be paid for through the Bedias Creek SWCD, as funds are available. This assistance is valid for a 12 month period per operation. Soil and biosolid samples must be approved through the Bedias Creek SWCD. All soil and biosolid samples must be received by the Leon County or Madison County Agri-life Extension office or the Bedias Creek SWCD offices no later than March 16, 2009 to be eligible. |
