"Show season" has officially begun for students showing rabbits in this year's Leon County Livestock Show and Sale. Validation for bunnies took place on Monday, March 2 at the show grounds in Centerville from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Forty-one participants validated rabbits for this year's show in hopes that their bunnies will qualify for one of the top fifteen sale slots.

Of the high number of entries, Leon County Extension Agent Tommy Neyland said, "We're so excited to see so many interested in the rabbit project."

Good luck to all rabbit participants at this year's show!
