March 5 - Don't forget that March 5 is our 1st Play day of 2009. Sign up by noon on Wednesday, March 4 for a 9-hole scramble and lunch to follow. Chili will be provided. Interclub Tournament:

February 26 - Our first Interclub tournament of the year was held at Elkins Lake. Five WGA members participated and had a great time playing at this beautiful golf course. The weather was beautiful, even with all the wind. That just added to the difficulty of the course. Ella Bishir, Nancy Koewn, Joyce Perkins, Ginger O'Brien and Helen Prejean participated. Ella Bishir and her team took 4th place and Ginger O'Brien and her team won 6th place. Joyce Perkins won closest to the pin in her flight. Congratulations to all winners.

The next Interclub tournament will be hosted by Hilltop WGA on Thursday, March 26th. Check the bulletin board for more information and sign up sheet. This is a fun day and a great chance to meet other ladies who love the game of golf.
