Junior class fundraiser nets over $2K

Servings with a smile! Juniors Morgan Anderson and 'Becca Dolling and class sponsors Lori Shaw and Dawn Egans dished up catfishdinners Sunday afternoon. Van'Go'photo The BHS junior class held a successful prom fundraiser on Sunday afternoon at the high school cafeteria.

Class sponsors Dawn Egans and Lori Shaw pointed out that Sara and Thomas Corbin and their family did all of the frying, and members of the Class of 2010 and some parents served up catfish dinners with all the trimmings and a huge selection of homemade desserts. Tickets were sold in advance or at the door, and between 'eatins' and 'take-outs', over 200 dinners were sold, profitting $2200. The proceeds will go toward Prom '09, which will be held May 16.
