The Leon County Retired Teachers Association met for their February meeting on Wednesday, February 25 at the Municipal Building in Centerville. JANUARY PERMITS TO DRILL The Commission issued a total of 1,264 original drilling permits in January 2009 compared to 1,760 in January 2008. February 23 Montie Morris, Jake Simpson, Marshall Robinson, Chance Vaughn, Kevin Raboin, Brandon Lack, and Jacob Holcomb responded to 18625 FM 542 to assist Oakwood VFD on a structure fire. When Buffalo VFD arrived on scene the structure was totally engulfed in flames. The members of the Buffalo VFD worked with Oakwood VFD to extinguish the fire. More ...
