Free Safety Awareness and Self Defense Workshop

There will be no charge for a Safety Awareness and Self Defense Workshop for ages 13 and up, at the Centerville Jr/Sr. High old gym on Saturday February 28, 2:00-5:00 p.m. The program is being presented by SARC (Sexual Assault Resource Center) and will include instruction in self defense manuevers by Kyoshi Raymond Montoya and a law enforcement panel discussing: personal safety, domestic violence and the law, and questions from the audience. There will also be raffle prizes. (This workshop is being sponsored by Leon County Victims Services, Leon County Domestic Violence Victims Advocates, Leon County Law Enforcement and Montoya's Shorin Kempo Karate.)
