Dear Editor,

This letter is to notify all voting residents of Precinct 3 what kind of person they have for their new commissioner, Mark Ivey.

I have worked for the county for one year and two months. I have been a good employee. I was never, ever late for work, and never called in sick. I also have a wife dying from cancer.

Then out of the blue, Thursday, I'm fired for no reason- except to give Mark Ivey's friend a job.

Is this the kind of commissioner we want? I don't. So I feel the voting residents need to know what kind of man Mark Ivey is.

"Sorry" is the word I would use, to fire a good, hardworking employee with a sick wife. I needed my job just to be able to pay for her medicine, since she has no insurance.

So please remember this and my family when it is time to re-elect a new commissioner.
