Nick Watson pulled together three guest groups along with his band, Country Connection, and walk-on talent.

Valley Junction Boys from Bryan was the first guest group, singing a variety of folk songs.

Digger Davis and his talented family were a hit with their outstanding bluegrass playing and singing. The Davis family is from Normangee and play the music circuit full time. Son, Jon is 17, recently graduated high school and has won many awards for his guitar playing. Daughter Jamie is 15 and plays the mandolin. Mom, Jeannie, plays the bass fiddle and home schools her children. Digger (yes that is his name) plays the banjo and sings.

Another talented group from the Teague/Fairfield area was "A Touch of Grass", also a blue grass band.

Local Flo cooks provided cakes and pies for a bake auction and the Center gave away a $100.00 Savings Bond in a drawing at the end of the program.
