Leon JV Cougars defeat the Marlin JV Bulldogs

Ryan Flori (14) drives in for a layup. Sherry's Shots The Leon JV Cougars defeated the Marlin JV Bulldogs 38-31 in the Leon Gym on February 10 in a tightly contested game. Both teams started extremely cold as the Cougars trailed 5-6 as the first period ended but found the range in the second quarter and built an eleven point advantage as the first half ended. The Cougars increased the margin to twelve going into the fourth period and held off a Bulldog rally to win 38-32. Ryan Flori led the Cougar attack with 21 points followed by Rush Robinson with 6.
