Jo Ann Graham Davis

Born to Jim B. and Dolly Holland Graham, January 27, 1936, Freestone County, near Buffalo, Texas. She passed away February 9, 2009 in Groesbeck, Texas.

Jo Ann was married to Arthur Davis who preceded her in death in April 2004. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Joe H. Graham, John B. Graham and sister, Mabel Kate Baker.

Jo Ann was a long time member of Woodville United Methodist Church and a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was employed for many years at Herman Hospital and Diagnostic Clinic. In her retirement years, she volunteered at the nursing homes in Woodville and provided home health care for many in the area. In addition, she was a foster parent for numbers of children.

Jo Ann is survived by one brother, James Duncan Graham of Friendswood and five sisters: Coella Graham Moore of Teague, Mary Schoenemann of Houston, Helen Rommel of Splendora, Della Baker and Betty Godby of Buffalo. Many nieces, nephews and stepchildren.

Jo Ann was buried in Magnolia Cemetery, Woodville, Texas, February 11, under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.
