Fred Dwain Gressett

Funeral services for Fred Dwain Gressett, age 53, of Jewett were held 10 AM, Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the Walters Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo.

Fred Gressett was born on July 22, 1955 in Mart, Texas to Ira Lee and Eddie Lee (Capps) Gressett. He lived most of his life in Jewett. He worked as a machinist for Humble Tooling. Fred enjoyed carpentry and he fished. His favorite pass time was spending time with his family and friends playing dominoes and eating Bar-B-Que. He especially loved being with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Thelma Gressett. He passed away at his residence in Jewett on February 5, 2009.

Surviving family members include his two sons, Shannon Gressett and wife, Cassie, of Nacogdoches and Travis Gressett and wife, Danielle, of Van Couver, Washington, two brothers, Mike Gressett of Buffalo and Mitchell Gressett and wife, Shirley, of Marquez and five grandchildren, Alexis and Gracie of Van Couver, Washington and J.J., Jazmin and Wesley of Nacogdoches.
