Dew MLK winners announced

Dew Jr. High students were recently invited by Buffalo Librarian, Mrs. Josie Randle, to participate in an essay contest honoring Dr. Martin Luther King. Students in Miss Brandy Ballard's 5th - 8th grade English classes were encouraged to enter. The students wrote an essay titled "What Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Means to Me". Dew Jr. High students were recognized with a certificate as well as prizes. Those students participating were Brad Jones (1st), Adrian Randle (2nd), Leia Jenkins (3rd), Devan Jenkins, and Taylor Fielder. A special thank you goes to Mrs. Randle for inviting our students to participate in this event.
