Buffalo ISD van robbed in Arlington

Over $9000 in cameras and equipment were stolen from a Buffalo ISD van that was parked at a LaQuinta in Arlington on Sunday, February 15 around 12 a.m.

The merchandise belonged to a Buffalo teacher and student that were attending a statewide journalism conference. A police report was filed with the Arlington Police Department.

The district's insurance policy will cover the incident, but requires a $5000 deductible, more than half of the total estimated cost of the four cameras and epuipment that were stolen.
