February: Love your local Library Month February is Love your Library Month at the Buffalo Public Library, so come out and celebrate with your public library. "Love Your Library Month" is a month-ling celebration of public, school, and private libraries of all types. This is a time for everyone to recognize the important role that libraries play in the cultural and economic success of local communities and the nation as a whole. Whether it be for bestselling books, children programs, or access to computers and the internet, Buffalo residents are encouraged to show their appreciation for their public library this month. Buffalo Public Library is celebrating its second annual "Love Your Library Month" Open House on February 16, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Library's history will be on display, along with any other personal items that citizens wish to share. To display your historic items, drop them off at the library before February 16. Items will be displayed until March 30. For more information, call the library at (903) 322-4146. |
