Friends, relatives, and co-workers help Johnny and Debra celebrate
Johnny and Debra Williams On a day named in their honor, Johnny and Debra Williams were feted, roasted and appreciated by friends and relatives at the Buffalo Civic Center. Sunday afternoon from two until six the parking lot was full and the Civic Center was rocking to the sounds of a band, and people sharing their love and remembrances of the Williams.
Buffalo Mayor Ken Stevens had declared that day to be dedicated to them, and as they both celebrated their retirement from the Postal Service many coworkers joined the crowd to honor the Williams. The bash was organized by Buffalo Postmaster Jackye Penney who is currently serving as OIC Teague.
