VS ANDERSON-SHIRO

The junior varsity Bison men grew stronger with each passing quarter last Tuesday night when they hosted the Anderson-Shiro Bulldogs. The JV contests were abbreviated, with only 6-minute quarters, but that was long enough for plenty of action for the fans to enjoy.

Nothing would fall for either team in the low-scoring first quarter, but the Bison had a 16-7 lead at halftime, and rolled on to a 43-28 win. Dylan Laningham and Creagor Elsom scored consistently throughout the game and led their team with 16 and 10 points, respectively. Casey Helfenbein added 6, Austin Rayborn 5, and Ethan Lansford 4. Auri Taillens contributed a nothing-but-net 3-pointer and Nathan Jones kicked in a basket.

VS CORRIGAN-CAMDEN

The JV's offense would not jell on Friday when they faced a strong team from Corrigan-Camden on the road. The Bison trailed 9-25 at halftime and the Bulldogs rolled on to a 40-21 win. Scoring for the Bison were Lansford (6), Elsom (5), Laningham (4), Helfenbein (2), Rayborn (2) and Jonathan Cates (2). Lansford led his teammates in rebounds.
