North Creek Baptist Church

The meeting of the youth on Saturday night was a lot of fun although there were not many of them present. The ladies bible study however was very exciting and well attended. The subject seemed to be just what a frustrated person needed. TheValentine's day dinner is on for February 15th and plans are still being made for it. It is going to be formal and so come dressed to show off. The treasurer is thinking about resigning due to ill health and advanced age. There are several in the church who are qualified to take his place. There is truly excitement in the church and most of it is because the pastor has led us to a more traditional Baptist service and everyone seems to enjoy the format. Everyone here will miss Bob Wayne Leathers immensely but he is now out of pain and in the presence of the Lord. Sunday morning we were greeted by a general meeting of the church instead of individual classes. The meeting was a presentation by Emmett Wells who is an engineer who recently returned from Morocco where he had been on a missionary trip and had a lot of pictures to show off. He had visited several of the missionaries sent there by IMB and it seemed ha had a lot of restraint to be able to operate there. If you are a Christian and are not now regularly attending a church of your choice, consider coming to North Creek where we serve the Lord with all humility and admiration. There is a lot of room at our table. If you are not now a Christian then you need to make a choice between eternal life and eternal damnation. That seems to be a "no-brainer.
