Doris Loree Johnson

Doris Loree Johnson passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in Oakwood, Texas at the age of 88. Doris was born on January 30, 1920 in Waco, Texas. She was a cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose absence will be felt deeply. Her loving care and upbeat, funny personality was an inspiration to her family. Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Johnnie B. Johnson.

She is survived by her sister, Jean Seale, of San Antonio, Texas; her daughter, Carroll Demanche, and husband, Larry, of Oakwood, Texas; her son, Gary Johnson, and wife, Diane, of La Verne, California; grandchildren, Brandy Norris, and husband, Daniel, of Spring, Texas, Jim Cluiss, and wife, Lisa, of Montgomery, Texas, Johnny Johnson of Billhead City, Arizona, Johnnie Brunner of Oakwood, Texas, Shawna Johnson of La Verne, California, and Cyndi Johnson of Oakwood, Texas; great-grandchildren, Brandon Brunner of Missouri, Misty Norris Thompson, and husband, Brandon, of Mission, Texas, Tara Brunner of Houston, Texas, K. D. Cluiss and Kevin Cluiss of Montgomery, Texas, P. J., Bianca and Brandee Johnson of La Verne, California.

Arrangements were made under the direction of Walters Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo.
