One arrested in Centerville shooting

Leslie Campbell Leon County Sheriff's Office press release. On 1-5- 2009 Sheriff Wakefield and Investigators with the LCSO responded to PR 2010, near Centerville Texas, for the report of a shooting. Subsequent investigation revealed that Leslie Campbell had shot a male subject in the leg that was fighting with his brother in the yard. That subject was transported to the emergency room in Crockett and is listed in stable condition. Mr. Campbell was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and is held in the LCSO jail on a $15,000.00 bond. A .410 rifle was recovered at the scene.
