Centerville Tigers lose to New Waverly in district opener

The Centerville Tigers traveled to New Waverly on January 2 and found out why New Waverly is one of the top teams in district 21AA as the Tigers lost 82-33. The Tigers got off on the wrong foot and fell behind by eleven points in the first quarter and had a deficit of twenty nine at the half. The margin grew to forty six at the end of the third quarter and by forty nine by the end of the game. New Waverly showed why they might be the class of the district.

THIS WEEK: The Tigers travel to Buffalo on January 6 and play Anderson in Centerville on the 9th.
