      Now is the Ideal Time to Plant Trees. I know we just went through a heck of a mess with two hurricanes this fall, and I know that we had a lot of tree-related damage to property because of them. But I also know that many trees served a valuable purpose by deflecting the wind and serving as wind screens that prevented more damage.

Paper flying, children screaming, Buffalo 4-H helps Santa Claus

      Paper flying, children screaming because they are tangled up in ribbon, and mounds of gifts still to be wrapped. This was the sight you saw at the December 4-H meeting held last Monday. The club met and attended to usual business, we voted on a prize for the Omelette Supper raffle ticket top seller.
